APPROVAL OF RANKING OF CERTIFIED AND QUALIFIED ENGINEERING FIRMS FOR SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (SWFWMD) STATUS REPORTS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3)-YEARS
Description
The scope shall be to provide status reports for Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) permitted retention/detention areas for all Sarasota County Schools facilities district wide. The scope includes field verification of compliance with record drawings and preparation of appropriate reports. On 2/25/2016, the Professional Services Selection Committee (PSSC) met to select certified and qualified engineering firms for this continuing services contract. The PSSC has ranked them in accordance with School Board Policy #7.71. The estimated cost of these services for the three-year period is $75,000.00. Funds for these services are available through individual project accounts.
Recommendation
That the ranking of certified and qualified engineering firms for Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) Status Reports, for a period of three (3)-years, be approved as presented and the Director of Construction Services be authorized to attempt negotiations with the top-ranked firm.
